It’s something we strongly believe in – looking after our people, not just the job – and making sure everyone knows help is there if they need it.
Supporting the local economy is a key part of how we operate. Wherever practical, we source materials, plant, and services from local and regional suppliers, helping to strengthen local supply chains and support small and medium-sized businesses. This includes companies such as Johnsons Timber and Carvers Building Supplies, alongside a trusted network of local trades and specialists. Keeping procurement local not only improves reliability and quality, but also reduces transport emissions and contributes to regional economic growth.
We work closely with local authorities, frameworks, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to support the communities we operate in. This can include contributing to small-scale improvement works, enhancing shared spaces, or supporting community-led initiatives. Our aim is to ensure that our presence on site delivers benefits that extend beyond construction — creating a positive and lasting impact for residents, stakeholders, and the wider community.
Environmental responsibility underpins how we deliver our projects. We focus on reducing waste, conserving energy, and minimising emissions through careful planning and efficient working practices. Materials are sourced responsibly, including FSC-certified timber and recyclable products, with low-VOC materials used where possible. Waste is segregated on site with a strong focus on recycling, and deliveries are planned to reduce vehicle movements and environmental impact. We also actively manage noise, dust, and vibration to protect building users and the surrounding environment, ensuring our works are carried out responsibly from start to finish.
